Coco vs Relevance AI: build an AI workforce, or hire a GTM co-worker
Relevance AI is a platform for building an AI workforce: specialist agents and tools you configure for sales, customer success, marketing, support, HR, operations and research, with an embedded team to help you deploy. Coco is an approval-first AI co-worker built only for GTM: about twelve workflows ship pre-built, and every customer-facing action waits for your approval. One is a platform you build on; the other is a co-worker you hand work to.

What Relevance AI is, in its own framing
Relevance AI calls itself "The home of the AI Workforce." Its homepage (opens in a new tab) currently leads with Invent 2.0, "Your 24/7 AI solutions engineer," which "helps your people identify what to automate, turn their expertise into reliable systems, and improve those systems over time." Its docs (opens in a new tab) describe the product as "a low/no-code platform where you can build AI agents and multi-agent teams that autonomously complete tasks."
The building blocks, on Relevance AI's own menu:
- AI Agents, Tools and Workforces. Agents run Tools; Workforces chain several agents into a team. The homepage shows specialist sales agents such as a Research & Enricher, Pre-meeting Prepper, Post-call Actioner, Meeting Scheduler, Outbound Prospector, Forecast Roll-up, Deal Reviewer and Proposal Builder.
- Invent. Its Invent page (opens in a new tab) says Invent "can help you create and optimize AI workforces in hours." You brief it on your process, it reads back your SOP and connects your tools, then it "hires a specialist agent for every job, then manages and orchestrates them," and steps in to tune an agent "the moment quality drifts."
- A deployment model. The homepage describes "an embedded deployment team" that maps your use cases in weeks 1-2, deploys a first team of agents from week 3, and trains your team to build on its own.
- A path to autonomy. Relevance AI frames adoption as four levels, from L1 Assisted and L2 Copilot to L3 Autopilot and L4 Self-Driving, and says "Real business impact is driven in L3/L4."
It is built for breadth and scale: 2,000+ apps on its pricing page (opens in a new tab) (the homepage says 1,000+), teams across seven functions, and enterprise controls listed on the homepage (SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, data residency, PII masking, audit logs, SSO/SAML, role-based access control and human-in-the-loop approvals).
Where Relevance AI is the right call
Honest section. Relevance AI is the better choice when:
- You want agents beyond GTM. Relevance AI covers customer success, support, HR, operations and research as well as sales and marketing. Coco does GTM work only.
- You want to build and tune your own agents. Relevance AI gives you agents, tools, multi-agent workforces, evaluations and A/B testing. If you have someone who wants to design each agent, that is room Coco does not offer.
- You are an enterprise rolling agents out across teams. Its homepage describes an embedded deployment team, and its Enterprise plan (opens in a new tab) lists SSO, RBAC and audit logs, unlimited users and workforces, and a dedicated account manager.
- You need a SOC 2 report today. Relevance AI shows a SOC 2 Type II badge. Coco expects SOC 2 Type 2 in 2026 H2 and is not certified today.
- You want calling and meeting agents. Relevance AI lists Calling & Meeting Agents on its Team and Enterprise plans. Coco does not place calls.
Where Coco is the right call
Relevance AI offers pre-built agents, tools and workforces you can clone from its Marketplace, and its homepage shows named sales agents, so the difference is not "Coco arrives pre-built and Relevance AI does not." It is scope, and how the work is governed.
A fixed GTM playbook, run from chat. Coco ships about twelve GTM workflows: research accounts, enrich contacts, draft cold outreach, automate follow-ups, prep sales meetings, clean CRM data, reactivate stalled deals, route leads and more. You describe the goal in chat, Coco proposes a plan with a credit estimate, and you approve it. On Relevance AI, its docs (opens in a new tab) say you can "Use Invent to generate one from a description, clone a pre-built agent from the Marketplace, or build from scratch," and "Deploy agents in minutes" with its no-code builder or templates; its deployment team can help too. That flexibility is the point of a platform. Coco gives you less to configure: one set of GTM workflows, the same approval floor on all of them, and no agent to design.
Approval on every customer-facing action, fixed rather than configured. Relevance AI's docs (opens in a new tab) give each agent-to-tool connection an approval mode: "Auto run," "Approval required" ("The agent will draft the tool request but wait for human approval before execution") or "Let agent decide" based on confidence, and they recommend Approval required for tools that "Make external communications" or "Modify important data." That is a sound model, and you set it connection by connection. Coco applies one hard, no-bypass floor: every send, CRM write and Slack post waits for approval in every workflow. Once a workflow has proven itself, you can let it run on its own inside the guardrails you set, with every step logged. See AI with approval gates.
Priced and shaped for a small team. Relevance AI's homepage speaks mostly to enterprises ("We partner with enterprise teams to put purpose-built agents to work on millions of tasks every month"), and its public pricing page shows only Enterprise, though its docs also list Pro "For solo GTM operators" and Team "For teams building at scale." Coco's Founder plan is $40 a month with 5,000 credits, and the Hobby plan is free with your own API keys once your beta application is approved.
Integrations tuned to the GTM stack. Coco connects to fewer tools: HubSpot, Salesforce, Gmail, Google Calendar, Apollo, LinkedIn, Clay, Outreach, Slack, Notion, Calendly and ZoomInfo. It knows what a stale deal looks like in HubSpot and what a clean post-meeting CRM update should contain. Relevance AI connects to far more apps across every function.

Pricing: Relevance AI vs Coco
As of 2026-11-03, Relevance AI's pricing page (opens in a new tab) shows one plan: Enterprise, custom priced, with "Talk to sales." It includes custom Actions and Vendor Credits, unlimited agents, users and workforces, calling and meeting agents, agent evaluations, A/B testing, SSO, RBAC and audit logs, and a dedicated account manager.
Relevance AI's docs pricing page (opens in a new tab) lists two self-serve plans as well. Pro is $19 a month billed annually or $29 monthly, with 2,500 Actions and $20 of Vendor Credits a month, bring-your-own API keys, 2 build users and 1 project. Team is $234 a month billed annually or $349 monthly, with 7,000 Actions and $70 of Vendor Credits a month, 5 build users and 45 end users. The docs say "The Free plan is retired for new signups and existing accounts." They define an Action as counted "when an Agent runs a Tool," and Vendor Credits as covering "LLM and tool usage costs at wholesale, with no markup," which you can bypass with your own API keys. Paid plans can buy top-ups at $80 per 1,000 Actions and $20 per 10,000 Vendor Credits; Vendor Credits roll over while you are subscribed, plan Actions reset at each renewal and purchased Action top-ups carry forward. The $19 figure is Pro's monthly price when billed annually.
Coco's pricing: Hobby $0 a month, free with your own API keys once your beta application is approved; Founder $40 a month with 5,000 credits plus top-ups; Team custom with pooled credits and admin audit. Typical costs are about 1-2 credits per record enriched, 4-6 credits per outreach draft and about 8 credits per pre-meeting brief. See Coco's pricing →.
A Relevance AI Action and a Coco credit are different units, and the products bill for different things, so compare a real week of your GTM work on both.
Relevance AI, Lindy and Viktor: how they differ
Buyers often ask for these three together. Here is how each describes itself:
- Relevance AI is a platform for building an AI workforce of agents across functions, with an embedded deployment team (its site (opens in a new tab)). Best for teams that want to build and govern many agents.
- Lindy calls itself an AI employee that takes work off every desk, from lead gen to bookkeeping. See Coco vs Lindy.
- Viktor is an AI employee that lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams. See Coco vs Viktor.
- Coco is narrower than all three: an AI co-worker for GTM only, with workflows pre-built and approval on every customer-facing action. See what an AI co-worker is.
The three generalists are configured toward your process. Coco starts from a defined GTM playbook.
When to pick which
Pick Relevance AI if:
- You want AI agents across support, HR, operations and research, not just GTM.
- You have people who want to build, evaluate and tune their own agents, or you want an embedded team to do it with you.
- You are an enterprise that needs SOC 2 Type II, SSO and RBAC today.
Pick Coco if:
- Your bottleneck is GTM follow-through: research, drafts, meeting prep, CRM hygiene.
- You want every customer-facing action approved by default, in every workflow.
- You are a founder or small team without time to build agents first.
- You want to start at $0 with your own API keys or $40 a month.
